Hello! My name is Kim Crockett Corson. I find writing stories for young children to be a fulfilling and exhilarating hobby. I get much inspiration, laughter and joy from my delightfully lively daughter – who sees the world with fresh and innocent eyes. Does this sound familiar to anyone: an energetic and independent little girl is determined to get ready for school all by herself – while her parents fumble and struggle to get her through the morning ritual with minimal chaos? It sure is familiar to me: the idea for my first book came from the experiences with my own daughter, who almost always wants to do everything by herself – even if the result is incorrect, incomplete or simply a downright fiasco. I wrote My Good Morning as a humorous story for all parents who have lived through these frenzied morning struggles.
